16 children from Duisburg, all aged between four and fourteen, received a personal invitation from Police Commissioner Alexander Dierselhuis.
The children were allowed to slip into a police vest and take a look inside the patrol car.
All the children had a lot of fun and some of them wanted to become police officers themselves in the future after this appointment.
The little heroes and heroines found money, cell phones or keys and handed them in to the police or the lost property office of the city of Duisburg.
With the invitation to the police headquarters, we want to honor the exemplary behavior of the little ones.
The Duisburg police are very proud of these Duisburg children. As a small token of appreciation, they were all presented with a "surprise package".
