(hd) On Tuesday (19.08.2025) at around 2 p.m., three burglars intended to take advantage of the brief absence of a homeowner to break into a house on Bünder Straße in Hiddenhausen. Equipped with several tools, they went to the rear of the building. There they tried to pry open a window. A neighbor became aware of the situation and alerted the police. She also informed another resident. He went to the scene of the crime and spoke to the three suspects. They claimed that they had only been carrying out work on the building. They then left in the direction of Bünde. During a police search, they could not be found at first. The three people can be described in more detail. The first suspect is a man between 50 and 55 years old with a southern appearance. He is approx. 170 - 175 cm tall, has a slim build and was wearing a white T-shirt, black trousers and a black baseball cap. The second person is male, southern-looking, about 30 to 40 years old and of normal build. This person had a full beard and was bald. He was wearing a dark T-shirt and green trousers. The third person, also male, of southern appearance and about 30 - 40 years old, is only 160 - 170 cm tall and has a stocky build. He was wearing dark clothing. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation.
